Position Overview

Our commitment to change begins with our dedicated team, which is why we are seeking a meticulous and proactive Coordinator to provide essential operational support in the management, development, and performance evaluation of our legal talent.

Key Responsibilities:

Attraction Strategies

  • Oversee logistics for external Emerging Talent events, ensuring timely travel arrangements and communication with attendees, as well as coordinating with couriers for the proper setup of firm materials.
  • Manage room bookings, catering arrangements, and coordinate internal speakers and AV requirements for internal events and assessment centers.
  • Assist the Diversity & Inclusivity team with Emerging Talent events by providing necessary materials, preparing presentations, and representing the Emerging Talent initiative.
  • Perform administrative duties for all BCLP attraction events.
  • Support Recruitment Managers in managing social media content in collaboration with our social media agency.

Selection Process

  • Coordinate first-stage virtual interviews for Emerging Talent positions.
  • Facilitate both in-person and virtual assessment days for Emerging Talent roles, including candidate management, room bookings, and preparation of assessment materials.
  • Organize vacation schemes and other graduate programs, which involves session facilitation, room bookings, catering arrangements, and onboarding processes for students.

Recruitment Duties

  • Manage candidate communications throughout the recruitment process, including interview and assessment outcomes.
  • Prepare offer documentation for selected candidates.
  • Ensure the collection of signed offer and onboarding documents as required.
  • Provide feedback to candidates who were not successful in securing a position.
  • Handle candidate expenses, invoices from external vendors, and maintain the budget tracker while liaising with the Finance department as necessary.
  • Oversee the Application Tracking System (ATS), PeopleSoft, and Chrome River.
  • Update and post job descriptions for lateral hires on various job boards.
  • Compile and issue offer documentation for lateral hires.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for recruitment and personnel records.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in HR or Graduate Recruitment, with a solid understanding of the field.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A collaborative team player.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Highly organized with strong administrative skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and their relevance to recruitment.
