Overview of the Role

Kirkland & Ellis LLP is seeking a Legal Talent Acquisition Coordinator to enhance our recruitment efforts within the legal sector. This position will play a pivotal role in supporting the Firmwide Legal Recruiting and Development Department, focusing on the recruitment and professional growth of aspiring solicitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Legal Recruiting and Development team in executing graduate recruitment initiatives.
  • Organize and facilitate interviews, ensuring timely feedback for prospective trainee candidates.
  • Monitor applicant progress through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Conduct background checks and manage onboarding processes for new hires.
  • Represent the firm at legal recruitment events across the UK.
  • Participate in the evaluation of graduate applications and the orchestration of assessment days.
  • Coordinate induction and development programs for trainees.
  • Support various training initiatives and summer programs.
  • Manage invoice processing and uphold regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure meticulous document management and filing practices.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will possess a degree and relevant experience in recruitment within a legal or professional services environment. Familiarity with solicitor qualification pathways is advantageous.
