Position Overview:

This role involves overseeing key service accounts, focusing on nurturing relationships and driving sustained sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance revenue from existing key service accounts and promote additional services such as Fire Detection, Suppression, CCTV, Access Control, and more.
  • Achieve sales targets and margins through effective account management.
  • Assist in site assessments and gather asset information to support the Technical Operations Manager and Estimating team in preparing maintenance quotations.
  • Utilize value-based selling techniques to align with customer objectives.
  • Leverage knowledge of Senseco Systems' offerings to provide optimal solutions to clients.
  • Maintain regular communication with key clients, ensuring efficient site visits and strong relationship building.
  • Monitor and enhance relationships with key account clients, addressing any concerns with the Service Delivery Team.
  • Balance time between office duties and on-site client interactions to foster strong connections.
  • Participate in client social events to strengthen relationships.
  • Take full ownership of client accounts, ensuring regular site visits and comprehensive reporting on maintenance activities.
  • Develop and maintain close ties with end users and FM contractors to advocate for Senseco's solutions.
  • Report on maintenance progress and address any access challenges during meetings.
  • Lead your team as the Account Manager, collaborating with a Technical Specification Team Leader and a Customer Service Team Leader to ensure compliance and exceptional service delivery.
  • Review engineering reports and generate quotes for recommended works.
  • Collaborate with clients to negotiate annual renewals and orders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Completion of FIA or a recognized certification in Fire Detection & Alarm systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as Fire Detection & Alarm systems, EVCS, PAVA, and Gas Suppression Systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an organized approach to tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in consultative and value-based selling methodologies.
  • Proficient in presentation, negotiation, estimating, costing, budgeting, and financial tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in various business environments.
  • Proven background in a technical engineering role within the life safety sector.
