The Team Leader for Children's Residential Services plays a vital role at Headway Adolescent Resources, a prominent organization dedicated to the care of adolescents in a residential setting. Our mission is to deliver personalized support to young individuals in a comprehensive manner. We are seeking a dedicated Team Leader to enhance our team.

Job Purpose

  • Ensure the comprehensive needs of young individuals in care are fulfilled
  • Oversee and guide Residential Support Workers

Main Responsibilities

  • Guarantee the smooth and effective functioning of the Home
  • Manage and mentor Residential Support Workers
  • Adhere to Safeguarding Policies
  • Foster positive relationships with staff and external partners
  • Assist in the development and evaluation of Care Planning

Required Qualifications

  • Strong educational background
  • Possess relevant Diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Current knowledge of Child Care legislation
  • Experience working with young individuals exhibiting challenging behavior
  • Demonstrated managerial and leadership capabilities
  • Solid understanding of child protection protocols
