About the Role

As a Residential Childcare Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and supportive home for our residents. You will work closely with young people who may exhibit challenging behaviors, requiring patience, resilience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact.

Responsibilities
  • Provide consistent and compassionate care to young people in a residential setting.
  • Implement individualized support plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Create a structured and nurturing environment that promotes positive behavior and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, families, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for the young people in our homes.
Qualifications and Skills

We are seeking individuals who possess:

  • Previous experience working with challenging youth, preferably in a residential setting (while not essential, it is highly valued).
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and the willingness to pursue relevant qualifications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with young people, families, and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A valid driver's license is essential for this role.
