Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our Residential Children's Services team at Headway Adolescent Resources. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residential care facilities and ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Team Leaders and Residential Support Workers to deliver high-quality care and support services.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans and strategies to meet the needs of our young people.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and achieve organizational goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including those related to safeguarding and quality assurance.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior management role within a residential care setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, young people, and external partners.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including those related to safeguarding and quality assurance.
