Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert clinical leadership for the assessment, monitoring, and management of patients with complex mental health needs.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of lower-banded staff, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
  • Lead service development initiatives aligned with evidence-based practice, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation within our community mental health services.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and provide clinical guidance at multidisciplinary meetings, contributing to informed decision-making for patient care.
  • Act as a care coordinator, reviewing support plans and coordinating resources to ensure holistic and person-centered care.
Essential Requirements:
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), Social Worker (SW), or Occupational Therapist (OT).
  • Proven experience working within a community mental health setting, demonstrating a strong understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with diverse mental health needs.
Desirable Requirements:
  • Training in brief interventions, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), or other psychological therapies.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development and commitment to staying at the forefront of best practices in mental health care.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car for work purposes.
