Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced clinician to lead on complex assessments and formulations, leading to evidence-based and specialist treatment. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in working with young people who present with complexity and significant levels of distress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on complex assessments and formulations, leading to evidence-based and specialist treatment.
  • Work alongside the Clinical Lead and Team Manager to support the delivery of psychological support across the service.
  • Responsible for assessment, treatment, and outcome measurement.
  • Provide clinical supervision to staff, as well as development and training.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to support young people and their families, including those with neurodevelopmental diagnoses and co-morbidity.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive experience in working with young people who present with complexity and significant levels of distress.
  • Highly developed knowledge of specialist therapeutic assessment, formulation, and intervention skills.
  • Specific knowledge and expertise in psychological interventions.
  • Experience of supervising and managing others, although support and training can be given for this to the right candidate.
