Eating Disorders Clinical Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Therapist/Clinical Specialist to join our team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of our new Intensive Support Pathway within the SET CAMHS Eating Disorder Service.
Key Responsibilities- Support the operational manager to lead on the Intensive Support Pathway, providing line supervision and contributing to the development of our new day programme.
- Develop innovative strategies to support young people and their families, and contribute to the ongoing development of the service to support young people to stay at home during their recovery.
- Undertake highly specialist clinical work, leading on group interventions and offering senior care reviews and reformulation of cases.
- Work alongside external agencies to support the ongoing care provisions of young people.
- Successful completion of a post-graduate training in psychological practice (psychologist, or family therapist).
- Eligibility for registration as a full member of the appropriate professional body (HCPC, ACP, AFT, NMC).
- Extensive experience of working with difficult, disturbed, or challenging children/young people requiring skilled and complex interventions.
- Extensive experience of working therapeutically with parents/carers/families of children and young people in crisis with complex mental health problems.
- Knowledge of research methodology and outcome research design, and ability to critically interpret research findings.
