Position Overview

In this pivotal role, you will take charge of the strategic branding initiatives for the Tennent's brand, spearheading the development of the commercial brand strategy across diverse markets.

You will provide guidance for the Tennent's portfolio, ensuring optimal utilization of the Group's intellectual property and resource distribution throughout the marketing spectrum.

Your duties will encompass the planning, development, and advocacy of a unified participation and offering strategy for the brands across various regions. As a key advocate for the core beer brand within the organization, you will uphold strategic integrity while leveraging comprehensive brand and consumer insights to shape campaign and sales channel strategies, as well as monitor brand health and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Formulate and execute the strategic plan for Tennent's beer products across the Group Direct commercial brand planning with both annual and multi-year objectives for Tennent's. Hold sole strategic accountability for the Tennent's beer portfolio Allocate resources across markets and marketing channels to foster growth and achieve targets for all brands Collaborate closely with colleagues across the Group and distribution partners to ensure commercial awareness of market variances and challenges. Actively seek and secure support from all key stakeholders within the broader Group strategy Identify key markets to realize strategic advancements and brand expansion. Lead innovation ideation, strategies, and projects to outcomes that enhance brand and commercial value. Ensure that the strategy is designed to deliver financial returns that meet or exceed the targets established by business leaders.

Candidate Profile

Degree in a relevant marketing field or equivalent experience required Proven experience and expertise in leadership, coaching, and team development Background in commercial brand management and oversight of brand P&L Ability to juggle multiple projects with a demonstrated capacity to prioritize based on ROI to the business. Strong track record of crafting cross-channel marketing plans that achieve or surpass business goals. Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise direction and feedback to both external and internal stakeholders, as well as the capability to influence others
