The Goat Agency stands at the forefront of Social & Influencer Marketing. We are in search of a seasoned Senior Strategist to step into a maternity cover role. In this capacity, you will spearhead the formulation of innovative, insight-driven strategies tailored for our clientele. Your expertise in market dynamics, cultural nuances, and client objectives will be pivotal in crafting engaging, integrated campaigns that yield measurable outcomes. As a Senior Strategist, you will work in close partnership with our creative and campaign teams to ensure that the strategic vision is flawlessly executed across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Brief Evaluation: Proficiently assess and interpret client briefs, pinpointing strategic and creative requirements for both RFPs and ongoing clients, while proactively identifying potential challenges and opportunities.
  • Proposal Management: Direct and oversee the comprehensive proposal development process, ensuring that all submissions are strategically robust, creatively innovative, and completed within designated timelines.
  • Industry Insight Development: Cultivate a thorough understanding of the wider industry landscape, market trends, and cultural contexts influencing client projects, utilizing this knowledge to guide strategic choices.
  • Comprehensive Strategy Formulation: Lead the creation and development of all-encompassing, integrated strategies for clients, encompassing proactive, culturally relevant, and reactive concepts that resonate across diverse channels.
  • Strategic Messaging: Guarantee strategic precision and clarity in all client communications, ensuring that the core message is compelling, well-articulated, and effectively delivered throughout the campaign.
  • Research and Insight Application: Employ advanced research and analytical capabilities to extract valuable insights, translating them into clear, actionable recommendations that drive client success.
  • Creative Strategy Coordination: Collaborate closely with the campaign team to ensure alignment between the creative strategy and campaign execution, maintaining consistency and effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Quality Control: Supervise the accuracy and quality of all proposals, supporting materials, and client-facing documents, ensuring they adhere to the highest standards of grammar, style, continuity, and content.
  • Creative Facilitation: Lead and facilitate high-level creative brainstorming sessions, leveraging data and insights to support and validate innovative ideas that align with the client's strategic objectives.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a comparable role
  • Experience in managing junior team members
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in technology, particularly in a remote working environment (Mac OS)
  • Native user of various social media platforms with a comprehensive understanding of each
  • A keen eye for design or relevant design experience is advantageous
  • Prior experience in a client-facing role is beneficial
  • Specific interests relevant to our work, such as gaming, sports, fashion, technology, travel, food & drink, sustainability, etc.
