As a Lead Credit Risk Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in our decision-making processes. Your analytical insights and data-driven recommendations will significantly influence our credit policies, strategies, and overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, refine, and enhance essential credit scorecards and decision-making performance across both consumer and business sectors.
  • Collaborate with various team leaders to pinpoint risks, enhance workflows, and optimize our operational connections.
  • Engage with stakeholders from diverse business functions to synchronize strategies and fulfill organizational objectives.
  • Offer constructive feedback on proposals, initiatives, and services.
  • Utilize analytical tools such as Excel, SAS, Alteryx, and Python to examine data for trends and opportunities.
  • Critically assess existing credit policies and recommend impactful modifications.
  • Conduct routine and special tasks, delivering actionable insights to foster positive results.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in managing and developing credit scorecards (Essential).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (including Macros, Pivots, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting, etc.). Knowledge of VBA is advantageous.
  • Recent experience in data analysis using SAS/SQL, Alteryx, or comparable tools (within the last 6 months).
  • A degree in mathematics or finance, or demonstrated experience at a senior/lead analyst level.
