We are looking for a seasoned and assertive Senior Brand Manager to join our global brand team and play a pivotal role in realizing Bowmore's brand vision and objectives.

In this influential position, you will be expected to exhibit passion, creativity, strategic thinking, and agility. Your focus will be on continuously enhancing our distinctive approach within the single malt sector, ensuring optimal value realization for the brand while captivating new consumers through elevated brand experiences, innovation, and communication aligned with our brand agenda.

This role will collaborate closely with the Global Brand Director and Bowmore Marketing Manager to ensure that all project objectives, timelines, and budgets are met, facilitating the seamless execution of projects across external agencies, internal teams, and key markets. You will inspire local teams to achieve our brand goals while consistently identifying opportunities for enhancing delivery quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee or assist in critical projects related to our brand strategy, such as evaluations of our product range, pricing strategies, and experience programs.
  • Create exceptional assets and initiatives that can be leveraged by key markets both online and offline to enhance brand equity.
  • Support the ongoing development of a new digital ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with PBMC markets to ensure effective deployment of our brand strategies and provide necessary resources for successful execution.
  • Motivate and assist market teams in launching brand innovations effectively across various platforms.
  • Develop brand education and advocacy initiatives while identifying trade engagement opportunities within significant projects.
  • Assist in performance analysis and management processes for the Scotch & Irish Portfolio to pinpoint key issues and opportunities, making informed recommendations.
  • Support the Brand Director and Global Marketing Manager in ensuring that asset requirements are clearly understood, communicated, and executed successfully.
  • Manage the BI budget, ensuring precise tracking of expenditures.
  • Identify best practices to enhance our programs and assets, inspiring local markets.
  • Maintain key relationships with Scotch brand team members, Innovation, Prestige, digital teams, BS Commercial markets, Operations, Finance, Global Insights, Visitor Centre, Distillery teams, and external agencies including creative, design, and PR.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing preferred.
  • Over 5 years of experience in brand management or creative/innovation management.
  • Experience collaborating with commercial finance teams and understanding P&L dynamics.
  • Creative and innovative problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven track record in managing complex projects with multiple inputs and outputs.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and generating enthusiasm for breakthrough marketing initiatives.

Additional Desired Qualifications:

  • International experience.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to travel, potentially up to 15% of the time.
  • Experience in premium/luxury spirits or other luxury sectors.
