Brand Strategy Senior Manager, International Health

Position Summary:

Cigna Healthcare, International Health (IH) is seeking a skilled Brand Strategy Senior Manager to accelerate the growth and reputation of our brand. As a key member of our team, you will apply strategic, analytical, and creative thinking to drive the delivery of our brand strategy, architecture, positioning, naming, and awareness and reputation building.

This role requires a mix of strategic thinking, problem-solving, and execution across the enterprise, bringing the brand to life across key audiences and touchpoints. We are looking for a creative thinker, brand strategist, and strong leader who can bring new ideas to the team, collaborate across marketing and with our business partners, and flawlessly execute on multiple priority projects.

  • Influence the rollout and implementation of brand identity and migration strategies across international markets.
  • Partner with legal, technology, sourcing, and other key stakeholders to understand dependencies and execute strategies.
  • Interface with internal and external partners in coordination of brand projects.
  • Build brand activation strategy for key IH markets and products.
  • Support and define positioning and messaging across various go-to-market and brand relationship situations.
  • Support brand health research and product/service naming ideation and implementation.
  • Elevate the new brand narrative and identity, partnering with our creative teams and agencies to ensure consistent application.
  • Serve as a thought leader within the organization, partnering with teams across the company to provide clear decisions and guidance on brand needs and application.
  • Socialize and educate internal and external teams on brand strategy and implementation.
  • Build thought leadership content to be leveraged by various markets.
  • Lead a dynamic team of brand strategists.

Requirements:

8+ years of experience in brand strategy and/or activation. A passion for problem-solving, creative expression, and improving the way companies relate to clients and customers. Experience with brand/marketing strategy for B2C and B2B with messaging to multiple target groups. Experience collaborating with agencies and creative resources (internal/external). Experience in leveraging data and research to inform strategy and execution. Well-honed communication skills, enabling the partnership with others to effectively inform and influence while building trust. Ability to translate business strategy and goals into brand strategy and liaison with key marketing and creative partners to bring it all to life. Writing skills and ability to create strategic frameworks. Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously and execute with ambiguity.
