About Our Organization:

Lead a dedicated team supporting vulnerable adults in our community.

At the Shared Services Partnership, we prioritize local individuals and businesses, collaborating with them to deliver quality services that are responsive, effective, and efficient. We are dedicated to acting with transparency, integrity, compassion, and humility, striving to listen and understand in a respectful manner that encourages involvement and meets the diverse needs of our communities.

Key Responsibilities:

In this pivotal role, you will provide the essential leadership required to ensure that vulnerable adults and their families within the Bi-borough are supported and empowered to lead healthy, independent lives. You will oversee a team of social work managers and care professionals, implementing a comprehensive approach to the assessment, planning, and delivery of high-quality, cost-effective, and culturally sensitive services. Your leadership will ensure that resources are allocated to those most at risk of marginalization or inequality.

Fostering a culture of transparency with a strong emphasis on safeguarding, you will be responsible for establishing robust arrangements for professional development, line management, and supervision. Additionally, you will ensure that quality assurance systems, governance, and reporting mechanisms are effectively in place, guide your team through transformative periods, and manage resources to deliver exceptional value.

Candidate Profile:

We seek candidates with a degree, relevant professional qualifications, and practical experience, demonstrating a commitment to continuous professional development focused on management and leadership. You should possess current knowledge of national policies and best practices, along with a solid understanding of the Care Act, safeguarding protocols, deprivation of liberty safeguards, and mental capacity legislation. A thorough grasp of the regulatory frameworks governing adult social care and the NHS is essential, as is familiarity with NHS and social care strategic policies.

Proficient in implementing best practices for vulnerable adults, you will excel in leading multidisciplinary teams within complex environments and building effective relationships with a diverse array of stakeholders. Experience in fostering a collaborative, performance-driven culture and managing budgets while utilizing feedback to enhance service delivery is also expected.

We offer a competitive salary, a high-quality pension scheme, and generous annual leave, including bank holidays. As a vital member of our organization, you will have numerous opportunities for professional development and advancement. We are committed to promoting equality and valuing diversity, welcoming applications from all segments of the community. We are a Disability Confident Employer, dedicated to ensuring our recruitment and selection processes are inclusive and accessible.

Please submit your application online, detailing how you meet the qualifications outlined in the person specification and job description. Resumes will not be considered for this position.

We reserve the right to extend or close this vacancy early without notice, depending on the volume of suitable applicants.
