About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AV Technician to join our Audio Visual Team as an AV Technician. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality events and meetings across the borough.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for events and meetings, including setup and maintenance of AV equipment
  • Work closely with the Events Team to deliver a wide range of events, from statutory council meetings to high-profile events
  • Manage the AV service and ensure the delivery of a high-quality and integrated events management service
  • Provide a first-class customer-facing service to clients within the council and external partners
  • Assist the AV Manager with the conflicting demands of the council building and offsite jobs
  • Represent the council to stakeholders on complex AV issues
Requirements
  • Experience in the setup and maintenance of AV equipment, including PA systems, lighting, and hybrid meetings
  • Experience of effectively working within an Audio Visual function
  • Experience of hybrid meetings, virtual meetings, and webcasting
  • Full UK driving license
