In this pivotal role, you will provide expert leadership to ensure that vulnerable adults and their families are supported in leading healthy and independent lives. Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a degree, relevant professional qualifications, and practical experience, demonstrating a commitment to continuous professional development with an emphasis on management and leadership. Up-to-date knowledge of national policies and best practices is essential, along with a thorough understanding of the Care Act, safeguarding protocols, deprivation of liberty safeguards, and mental capacity legislation. A solid grasp of the regulatory frameworks governing adult social care and the NHS is crucial, as is familiarity with NHS and social care strategic policies.

You should be adept at implementing best practices in the field of vulnerable adults, skilled in leading multidisciplinary teams in complex environments, and capable of building productive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. Experience in establishing a collaborative, performance-oriented culture and managing budgets while utilizing feedback to enhance service delivery is expected.
