Key Responsibilities:

In this pivotal role, you will provide essential leadership to ensure that vulnerable adults and their families receive the support they need to lead healthy and independent lives. You will oversee a team of social work managers and care professionals, implementing a comprehensive approach to the assessment, planning, and delivery of high-quality, culturally sensitive services. Your focus will be on optimizing resources to assist those at risk of marginalization or inequality.

Fostering a culture of transparency and prioritizing safeguarding, you will ensure that robust arrangements are in place for professional development, supervision, and line management. Your responsibilities will also include establishing quality assurance systems, governance frameworks, and reporting protocols, guiding your team through periods of change, and managing resources effectively to deliver exceptional value.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant degree, professional qualifications, and substantial practical experience, demonstrating a commitment to continuous professional development with an emphasis on management and leadership. You should have current knowledge of national policies and best practices, along with a solid understanding of the Care Act, safeguarding measures, and mental capacity legislation.

Proficient in implementing best practices for vulnerable adults, you will excel in leading multidisciplinary teams within complex settings and cultivating productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Experience in fostering a collaborative, performance-driven culture and managing budgets effectively will be essential.
