Job Summary:
The Royal Borough of Greenwich is seeking a strong leader to be our Head of Parking to manage daily operations, lead transformation efforts, meet financial goals, and stabilise services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the Lead Directorate Manager for Parking Services, overseeing the continuous improvement of parking services through strategic planning, effective resource management, and technology utilisation.
- Deliver various parking services such as enforcement, permit issuance, and revenue collection while ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
- Recruit, train, and lead staff dispersed across different locations, fostering a skilled and adaptable workforce.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive parking strategy that aligns with the Council's Transport Strategy.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address parking-related issues and opportunities.
Requirements:
- Comprehensive knowledge of the environmental and regeneration issues facing the borough and the ability to interpret, model, and articulate a strong strategic vision for service quality and continuous improvement.
