Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Maternity Pathway Coordinator to join our team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for scheduling, organizing, and updating caesarean section lists, as well as overseeing the induction of labour diary and booking processes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure accurate listing of women/pregnant people in accordance with complexity and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Respond to complex booking requests in a timely manner, whether by phone or in person.
  • Coordinate elective Caesarean section lists and manage inpatient waiting lists, induction of labour referrals, and support service KPIs.
  • Oversee DQIs and other service requirements, ensuring seamless patient flow and efficient use of resources.

Requirements
  • Understanding of admissions and waiting list procedures equivalent to NVQ Level 4.
  • Evidence of competence in literacy and numeracy.
  • Knowledge of hospital Patient Administration System (PAS).
  • Experience of dealing with patient appointment and booking systems.
