We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Pathways Coordinator. This role is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of young people in the care system.

About the Role

As a Pathways Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in engaging with young people aged 16-18 and supporting their development. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Building Strong Relationships
    • Establishing trust and rapport with young people to understand their needs and goals
    • Providing guidance and support to help them overcome challenges and achieve their aspirations
  • Mentor Recruitment and Support
    • Assisting in the recruitment and training of mentors to work with young people
    • Providing ongoing support and guidance to mentors to ensure they are equipped to make a positive impact
  • Guiding Young People towards Educational and Career Pathways
    • Helping young people to identify and pursue their educational and career goals
    • Providing information and resources to support their decision-making and goal-setting
  • Evaluating Progress and Collecting Feedback
    • Monitoring and evaluating the progress of young people in the program
    • Collecting feedback from young people, mentors, and other stakeholders to inform program improvements

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in Spoken English
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Ability to Work with Vulnerable Young People
  • Flexibility and Adaptability
