About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Talent, Development and Organisational Culture. This is a key role that will play a critical part in helping us deliver our organisational vision and priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of talent management strategies to identify, motivate, develop and retain top talent within the organisation.
  • Develop and implement culture change initiatives to enhance the organisational culture and promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Select and implement a new learning management system (LMS) to support the development of our people and improve our organisational capability.
  • Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to develop effective career pathways and succession planning.
Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with:

  • Full or part-qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) or equivalent professional qualification or HR knowledge.
  • Experience of a learning management system and developing and evaluating learning and talent strategies.
  • Experience of capability-building, on an individual, team and organisational level.
  • Experience of developing and implementing culture change initiatives.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £70,011, plus a range of benefits including:

  • Annual Leave: 25 days annual leave on entry, rising by one day for each completed year of service to a maximum of 30 days and pro-rata for part-time staff.
  • Privilege Leave: 1 day.
  • Hours of Work: 37 hours (net) per week for full time staff in all geographical locations, including London and pro rata for part-time staff.
  • Occupational Sick Pay (OSP): One month full pay/one month half pay on entry, rising by one month for each completed year of service to a maximum of five months full pay/five months half pay.
  • Mobility: Mobility clause in contracts allowing staff to be mobile across the Civil Service.
