About the Role

Marie Curie UK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Talent and Development function. As Head of Talent and Development, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our organisation and driving business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent management strategy aligned with our business objectives
  • Lead a team of professionals to deliver high-impact learning and development programs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure talent management processes are integrated with business strategy
  • Design and implement succession planning and talent development programs to ensure a pipeline of future leaders
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leaders, HR business partners, and other key influencers
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in talent management and development, with a track record of delivering high-impact programs
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement solutions to complex business challenges
  • CIPD accreditation or equivalent qualification in HR or a related field
