Job Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Services team at University Hospital Ayr.
Role Responsibilities:
This position calls for a highly motivated and dynamic individual who is eager to contribute to our Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will possess current NMC registration and have prior experience in emergency nursing, which is advantageous. You should demonstrate strong teamwork abilities and the capacity to work independently.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
The successful candidate will exhibit effective listening and interpersonal skills, alongside proficient time management capabilities. Excellent communication skills are essential for collaborating with nursing colleagues and the multi-disciplinary team. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a seamless service delivery by addressing the daily challenges to ensure safe, effective, and person-centered care.
Work Schedule:
This position requires a commitment of 37 hours per week, with a rotating shift pattern that includes both day and night shifts across a 7-day period.
Employment Type:
Please note that this role is offered on a fixed-term basis for a duration of 12 months.
