We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at University Hospital Wishaw. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and leading the management of the department.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patient care needs, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective care.
- Lead the clinical team, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental goals and objectives.
- Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration.
- Postgraduate expertise in a relevant specialty or area of practice.
- Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards.
- Leadership skills and experience in a clinical setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
