About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Trauma and Orthopaedics team at University Hospital Wishaw.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patient care needs and developing programs to ensure high-quality care delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing patient care needs and developing individualized care plans
  • Implementing and evaluating care programs to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Providing direct patient care and supervision to registered and unregistered staff
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve patient-centered care

Requirements:

  • Valid UK NMC registration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Working knowledge of basic information technology

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Evidence of further education and continuous professional development
  • Training/qualification in infection control
  • Knowledge of relevant clinical conditions and treatments
