Position Overview:

The Crown Estate is seeking a dedicated Compensation and Benefits Manager to lead the development and administration of our reward and pension frameworks.

This role is pivotal in ensuring that our compensation strategies are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our overarching business goals while adhering to all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executive Compensation:
    Assist in preparing materials for the Remuneration Committee and stay informed on market trends in executive pay.
  • Pension Oversight:
    Manage the administration of pension schemes, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and liaising with pension providers for effective plan management.
  • Reward Strategy Development:
    Contribute to the creation and execution of reward strategies that reflect the company's long-term vision, including conducting market analyses to maintain competitive compensation packages.
  • Compensation Management:
    Lead the annual review of salaries and bonuses, collaborating with HR business partners to ensure a transparent process.
  • Benefits Management:
    Supervise the administration of employee benefits, ensuring they are competitive and meet employee needs.
  • Employee Engagement:
    Design and implement communication strategies to enhance employee understanding of their compensation and benefits.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
    Ensure adherence to all relevant laws and prepare reports on compensation and benefits as needed.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of compensation and benefits frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Professional certification in HR or compensation management is preferred.
  • Experience in formulating and executing compensation strategies.
  • Understanding of occupational pension regulations and willingness to learn.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
  • Collaborative skills to work effectively with colleagues and external partners.
