Autism Support Worker

Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated individuals to provide essential support at a primary school with an SEN Provision. As an ASC Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting pupils with various needs, including MLD, SLCN, ASC, and challenging behaviors.

  • Your Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive support to students throughout the school day.
  • Assist students within the specialized provision setting.
  • Implement sensory learning techniques to enhance engagement and understanding.
  • Support speech, language, and communication development through tailored interventions.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that respects each student's choices, needs, and fosters their growth.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

We are looking for individuals with prior experience working with students who have diverse needs. A Level 2 qualification is preferred. While school-based experience is advantageous, backgrounds in care, support work, or youth work will also be considered. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with SEN, we encourage you to apply.
