We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced support assistant to work with a student with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) in a one-form entry primary school. The successful candidate will work closely with the SENCO to provide a tailored curriculum and support the student's academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage routine and behavior of the student
- Work one-to-one with the student to support their learning and development
- Collaborate with the SENCO to develop and implement a tailored curriculum
- Provide support and guidance to the student to help them access the curriculum
- Communicate effectively with the student, teachers, and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
- Experience of working with students with ASC
- Experience of working in a primary school setting
- Ability to work one-to-one with a student
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
