Job Title: ASC Support Assistant - Specialist Role

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ASC Support Assistant to join our team at a one-form entry primary school. The successful candidate will work closely with the SENCO to provide a tailored curriculum for a child with high-functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The role requires the ability to manage routine and behaviour, and experience working with children with ASC is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to a child with ASD
  • Assist with the development of a tailored curriculum
  • Manage routine and behaviour to ensure a positive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with ASC
  • Ability to manage routine and behaviour
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Working Hours: 08.45am - 15.15pm, Monday to Friday

Pay Rate: £12.90 - £13.50 per hour (inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay)

Contract Type: Temporary, with the possibility of becoming permanent
