We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Priory Group, a leading provider of specialist adult care services. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with autism and learning disabilities to achieve their goals and live independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with autism and learning disabilities
- Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care and medication management
- Support individuals to engage in activities and hobbies that promote their well-being and independence
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Manage challenging behaviors and provide de-escalation techniques
Requirements
- Reliable, friendly, and caring approach
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and provide support to colleagues
