As the Executive Assistant (EA) you are responsible for the workflow management of three EMEA AWS Data Center Community Directors. The EA will be working closely with the entire EMEA Leadership team, various business partners in associated departments, as well as other Executive Assistants across the multiple global stakeholder teams within AWS/ Amazon. Our EA's are highly passionate, self-managed and demonstrate initiative and proactively seeking solutions to problems. They learn organisational structures and the objectives of the teams they support, as well as build a strong internal network. Working in a highly ambiguous environment; they are able to change direction quickly attend to various ad hoc administrative tasks and projects.

Key job responsibilities
- Complex calendar management, meeting prioritisation, and large-scale meeting coordination across global time zones.
- Consolidation and /or preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly suite of business reports
- Engage and communicate effectively with external contacts/stakeholders in support of AWS deliverables and projects
- Mail scanning and processing.
- International Travel coordination, itinerary creation, and expense reporting.
- Administration of tracking files, as well as document preparation, editing, and review.
- Relevant preparation, organisation and collation of papers, and attendance in key meetings, ensuring the correct audience and cadence, tracking responses as well as coordinating relevant documentation and action item follow up.
- Project Planning according to Business cycles.
- Effectively collaborate with other department leaders including Finance, Safety, HR, Recruitment.
- Effective team building capability, whether in person or vitual, working with direct reports and the wider AWS team.
- Acting as main reference point both in presence and absence of Directors for respective contacts.
- Management of team space, including moves and reconfiguration across AWS office locations as required.
- Logistics management of office equipment, team sponsored company events and activities, including all hands meetings, social events, and planning and review sessions.
- Support and administration of recruitment processes where required.
- Flexibility to travel from time to time to support business goals.

The AWS Data Center Planning & Delivery (DCPD) team is responsible for determining data center capacity that meets our customers’ needs in Cloud Computing around the world. We ensure on-time delivery of all capacity for data centers while maximizing cost efficiency. We’re also responsible for delivering renewable power and sustainable infrastructure programs to support our commitments to The Climate Pledge.
