**Job description**:
DBS delivers a broad range of services to Defence, supported by the Chief Information Officer (CIO) Enabling Pillar. Release and Environments Management is part of Change Delivery Services within CIO.
**The main duties are**:
- Ensure integrity of environments to enable all software changes to be successfully deployed.
- Forecasting overtime requirements, organising the staff requirements for each release to the satisfaction of the customers and technical staff.
- Acting as the Environments and Release Subject Matter Expert at various meetings.
- Ensuring all governance documentation is kept up to date.
- Working in the Oracle Cloud environments.
- Planning and forward planning for releases.
**Person specification**:
**Desirable Criteria**
- ITIL Foundation qualification
**Experience**
- Of Release management
- Working in an IT Release, such as Cloud deployment environment
- Working with various stakeholders and managing customer expectations
- Working to flexible, tight timescales
- Working with high volumes of change to meet a Release
- Detail focused
