**Your new role at NewDay**
To guide the business with HR related queries and activities to support an effective employment relations culture, which balances business needs, employee engagement and effective resource management. Includes coaching and support on absence, disciplinary, grievance, flexible working and other employment relations related issues.

**Deliverables**
Manage the delivery of employee relations support to managers (and colleagues) through robust practices in case management.
Partner with stakeholders at all levels across the business to deliver a value-added HR service in line with the needs and priorities of the business.
Proactively influence, support, develop and coach managers to manage the full spectrum of employee relations issues, using policies and procedures, ideally resolving issues informally where possible.
Support the continuing review of all People policies, procedures and practices, implementing changes where appropriate
Manage and co-ordinate any external claims, balancing business risk with NewDay standards and Values

**What you'll bring**
Sound progression through a number of HR positions
Excellent understanding of employment law and employee relations
Self-motivation, with the ability to work under own initiative
Very strong verbal and written communication skills
Flexible approach to working; being able to work under pressure in a fast, dynamic and driven environment
Well organised, with the ability to manage own time and prioritise workloads
Able to make decisions which balance business and legislative needs

CIPD qualified with active affiliation
Knowledge and experience of TUPE
