About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations (ER) expert to join our People Advisory Team as a job share partner. As an ER specialist, you will provide expert advice on employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, and absence management. You will be responsible for establishing strong working relationships with managers across the business to ensure robust delivery of the HR function.

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of HR matters, with the ability to make confident and informed decisions. You will also be responsible for running development and training workshops for managers and developing colleagues. A proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at all levels is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising and guiding managers and employees on HR issues, including first line queries relating to absence, discipline, grievance, and performance management.
  • Establishing strong working relationships throughout the business to ensure effective delivery of the HR function.
  • Ensuring all ER cases are managed in an effective and timely manner.
  • Running development and training workshops for managers and developing colleagues.
  • Supporting the review and creation of draft policies and processes, advising line managers on practical application, and ensuring compliance with legislative change.

The estimated salary for this role is around £45,000-£55,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including a contributory pension scheme, life assurance, and 24/7 access to our confidential Employee Assistance Programme.
