Purchase Ledger Assistant

- Working within this high volume transactional Business you will be required to process purchase invoices accurately and act as first point of contact both internally and externally
- Distributing invoices electronically for authorisation
- Preparing weekly payment runs
- Working with suppliers to resolve queries
- Updating supplier information
- Escalating any problems to the Manager
- Review own work to eliminate errors and achieve agreed timelines
To be considered for this role you must demonstrate
- A strong educational background
- Possess ability to organise your workload, multitask and demonstrate strong communication skills
- Be able to demonstrate strong Accounts background within ledger management
Initially you will be employed on a 12 month contract with the possibility of an extension for the right person who can at the end of the contract demonstrate strong achievement to date, a good level of expertise within Purchase Ledger management and effective gained relationships both internally and externally. This is an urgent requirement.
