Vacancy: Part time Purchase Ledger Assistant

Location: Crawley, West Sussex

Salary £28,000 per annum pro rata

Hours: 16 - 20 hours per week over 3, 4 or 5 days.

Are you an experienced purchase ledger assistant looking to join a successful organisation in Crawley?

You will be joining a profitable business with plans for further growth working in a modern office environment in a small friendly team.

We are seeking an outstanding individual to join a thriving business as part of its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some good accounts payable experience who is looking for a part time role.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the following duties:

- Inputting invoices onto the database
- Reconciling statements and resolving any discrepancies
- Organising payment runs
- Maintaining accurate customer records
- Providing timely and accurate financial information to the management team
- Carrying out any other general administrative duties as required
- Previous experience in a purchase ledger role
- A working knowledge of accounting processes and procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A professional and confident manner
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office

You must be highly organised, have strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
