Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Administrator to join our team in Crawley, working on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for managing various financial tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

About the Role:

  • Finance Operations: You will assist in the completion of daily cash allocation and bank reconciliation, raise sales invoices and credit notes, and ensure all income is receipted and banked promptly.
  • Purchase Order Processing: You will support the management of purchase order processing, including raising and matching, as well as assisting budget holders to code and forward invoices for payment authorisation.
  • Financial Reporting: You will input financial ledger, journals, into the computerised General Ledger systems, ensuring accurate accounting, analysis, and other codes are used.
  • Compliance: You will assist with the preparation of consolidated statements, statutory accounts, associated notes, and working papers ahead of deadlines.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent organisational and communication skills, with a strong attention to detail. Proficiency in financial software, particularly computerised General Ledger systems, is essential.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £28,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and a supportive work environment.
