**The Role**
The HR & Training Assistant will support our HR & Training department and report directly to the HR & Training Manager. You will act as the first point of contact for day to day HR and Training related enquiries from employees and shall ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately, in a timely manner and in strict accordance with Employment Legislation and Company policies and procedures. The HR & Training Assistant will maintain confidentiality and act with integrity at all-times, whilst setting an example to others ensuring we perpetuate a people orientated culture and continue to make the Moorhouse Group a great place to work.
The role includes all aspects of HR, Training and Recruitment with support including (but not limited to) maintaining Company software and records, liaising with managers, coordinating recruitment admin, pre-employment screening checks and producing correspondence and contracts from existing templates. The HR & Training Assistant will also attend formal meetings as required, help coordinate and monitor training and ensure filing, scanning and system updates are completed daily.

The role includes Health and Safety and Site Maintenance administration such as assisting with routine H+S inspections, record keeping and ensuring the building is well maintained and tidy and that potential issues are resolved efficiently by promptly liaising with relevant third parties where necessary.

**About you**
- You are someone that already has a minimum of 2 years HR Assistant experience.
- You have a good grasp of basic Employment Law principles and are a resilient and confident communicator who interacts well with people at all levels of seniority.
- Organised and professional, you are someone who would relish the opportunity to develop your existing skillset in HR whilst balancing the day to day administrative requirements of the department.
- You have good IT skills and will ideally have experience of using BreatheHR or other similar HR software platforms.
- You are committed to self-development and always keen to take on new challenges

CIPD or equivalent qualifications are not essential but would be advantageous.
