Link Financial Outsourcing are looking for a HR Advisor to join our highly skilled and experienced HR team on a permanent basis.

**Role Overview**

As a HR Advisor you will support the HR Manager and Head of HR with daily duties, and to advise both line managers and employees. You will be working as part of a proactive, innovative, and responsive HR team to build and develop relationships with managers and employees at all levels, to provide support and guidance on a range of HR related matters and share best practice through the company.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Provide an efficient, effective HR service which supports all aspects of an employee’s relationship with the Company including terms and conditions of employment, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and Company policies.
- Build effective working relationships with employees at all levels, providing guidance and effective advice on employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinaries, absence management, and grievances.
- Build relationships with managers at all levels and develop a good understanding of their work to be able to act as a true business partner.
- Take responsibility for the implementation of all HR policies, ensuring that all HR & Payroll issues are dealt within the timescales set out in the procedures of the Company.
- Engage in promoting and 'living’ the core values of the Company, monitoring employee health and wellbeing and delivering improvements through appropriate and considered benefits.
- Support the development of strong communication and feedback channels with all employees and through variety of mechanisms to support employee engagement.
- Carry out timely and accurate completion of monthly payroll administration tasks.
- Supporting managers with various capability investigations, including grievance, disciplinary and wellbeing meetings
- General HR administration and support with ad hoc HR projects
- Ensuring knowledge regarding employment legislation and HR best practice is up to date.

**Work Experience and Qualifications**
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in HR & Payroll or CIPD Level 5
- A general level of education at degree or professional level
- Experience of working in a generalist HR environment
- Employee Relations experience is essential
- A working knowledge of Payroll and principles or good HR practice, with knowledge of employment law
- While experience in payroll isn’t essential, a background in bookkeeping or accounts is acceptable.
- Excellent interpersonal skills presenting a calm and approachable manner.
- Confidential, discreet, and diplomatic approach
- Ability to confidently and clearly present information to others in both formal and informal environments
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure to meet strict deadlines and cope with large volumes of work and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail.
- Flexible and resilient with a positive attitude

**Other Role Detail**

Caerphilly office based

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
