**Ealing Council Planning Services**
**The Role**:
- Assist the Senior Regeneration Officer with writing reports on data for Local Plan Workstreams.
**What will you gain from working as a Planning Volunteer?**
- Experience working with two large teams within the Planning Services department of a Local Authority.
- Gain confidence and be provided opportunities to show initiative and share ideas with the teams.
- Build employability within the Planning Sector, with familiarity gained in key planning legislation, the local-plan making process, and how to assess of Lawful Development Certificates.
- Be trained by staff members on different aspects of organisation, analysis, legislation, and delivery.
**Volunteer Expenses**: Travel expenses will be paid.
**Requirements**: This volunteering opportunity is open to residents above the age of 18.
**What skills do I need?**
- IT - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong Organisational Skills.
- Good Communication Skills
- Ability to appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information.
