London, United Kingdom London LGBT Community Pride CIC Full time

Strategic Partnerships & Fundraising · London Grandstand Co-ordinator (Volunteer Role)
We just celebrated the 51st Pride March in London, which provides a rich legacy to continue building upon. We stand as a beacon to highlight ongoing challenges within the LGBTQ+ community, even amidst progress. Our incredible team is a blend of passionate staff and volunteers who champion diversity, inclusivity, and understanding. We hail from diverse walks of life, forming a vibrant community of change-makers. With a diverse and dedicated year-round team of around 150 volunteers, we orchestrate Pride in London, the incredible event that unites us all. Pride in London stands committed to truly representing every facet of our community. We celebrate equality, diversity, and inclusion. Our focus is on enriching the diversity of our volunteers, ensuring that Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic, Disabled, Trans, and all communities are vividly reflected within our teams.
Logistics Planning: Familiarity with LGBTQ+ issues and a commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion.
A friendly and welcoming induction course and a variety of training that’s offered throughout the year
A chance to broaden your professional network
Putting on one of London's largest one-day events requires dedication and perseverance.
Although a lot of our work is completed remotely, there will be plenty of opportunities to meet with your team and others throughout the year to not only plan what's ahead but to socialise too.
We're looking for enthusiastic people to join the organisation so we can provide a platform for every part of London’s LGBT+ community.
Pride in London is run in majorityby a group of volunteers who are passionate about equality and diversity. We are a not-for-profit organisation, and any surplus funds we raise are used to support the LGBT+ communities and improve the event.
