Our client a leading health charity are seeking a Head of Volunteering to start ASAP, this role will suit strong leader with experience in the voluntary sector to support at a time of change, requited to support ASAP on a 6-month contract, hybrid and flexible working offered, offices based in London.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute strategic plans to advance volunteering initiatives.
- Support and manage a large team though change and transformation.
- Provide leadership to volunteer-led community networks, fostering collaboration and support.
- Manage operational delivery of volunteering and community programmes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Expand community outreach efforts, with a focus on underserved groups, to maximise impact.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and promote safety in all volunteer activities.
- Deliver high-quality support to volunteers and managers, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
- Lead innovation in volunteering initiatives, driving continuous improvement and impact.

Required Skills and Experience:

- Strong leadership and management experience, with a proven track record of delivering results.
- In-depth knowledge of volunteering best practices and community engagement strategies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to achieve shared goals.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on building relationships and driving change.
- Commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion, ensuring all community members feel valued and respected.
