Title Event Management volunteer
Newington Green Alliance (NGA) is a small charity working to build strong, deeply connected community that reduces suspicion and mistrust, crime and loneliness and improve mental health, happiness, educational success, community financial strength, and mutual support.

Among the ways NGA can bring people together and help them to connect with and understand each other better is by running local events. The local events we plan to run over the coming months include:
Conferences on relevant local topics such as gentrification, classism, and loneliness.
Community work days where diverse local people work side by side to improve the area for everyone
Intercultural food events where everyone brings a dish their grandmother might have made and cross-cultural connections are made
