We have an exciting opportunity for an **IT Service and Commercial Lead (Compliance)** in our **Digital and Technology Group (D&T)**.

This is a **full-time** opportunity, on a **permanent **basis. The role will be based in 10 South Colonnade, Canary Wharf London, E14 4PU/South Mimms, Hertfordshire. Please be aware that this role can only be worked in the UK and not overseas. We are currently implementing a flexible, hybrid way of working, with a minimum of 4 days per month working on site to enable the collaboration and contact with partners and stakeholders needed to deliver MHRA business. Attendance on site is driven by business needs so depending on the nature of the role, this can flex up to 8 days a month, with the remainder of time worked either remotely or in the office. Some roles will need to be on site more regularly.

**Job description**:
**What’s the role?**

The IT Service and Commercial Lead (Compliance) will lead on commercial compliance aspects for all IT Products and Services, enforcing licensing and commercial requirements in line with good practice and legal requirements to ensure that the Agency is compliant.

The post holder will support the IT Service and Commercial Management functions by monitoring and providing advice, information and guidance on all matters related to IT licensing, promoting contractual obligations and good practice to build a strong compliance culture that provides value for money and ensures compliance is enforced and maintained.

The post holder will work with stakeholders to put IT asset management arrangements in place, reviewing and reporting on agency IT licensing, reviewing & guiding on end-user license agreements, negotiating with IT suppliers and analysing IT cost models.

You will have proven experience being service focused, serving customers and putting their needs at the heart of everything you do. Knowledge of how and when to use resources so that services and information are genuinely user-centred.

You will have a track record of managing supplier relationship, with experience of managing successful negotiations with suppliers and actively managing contracts to deliver sustainable improvements and value for money.

You will have a commercial mindset and will be able to demonstrate your experience of seeking out and implementing solutions which achieve the best mix of quality and effectiveness and enable the organisation to deliver their outcomes.
