**Customs Administrator**
£23,400 - £26,500 plus benefits (Work Level 6C)
Manchester city centre - hybrid working

We’re looking for a Customs Administrator to join us at Co-op to help us make sure that customs declarations for goods imported into the UK or exported are accurately completed and that all products ranged by Co-op and Nisa can be compliantly exported.

**What you’ll do**
- Check that all customs declarations have been completed in line with agreed standard operating procedures
- Keep accurate records of all customs documentation, checks and errors, and track the status of any errors through to resolution
- Analyse product data to create a compliant customs data set
- Equip Nisa partners with the documentation they need to enable wider export
- Recommend improvements to process and ways of working to the Customs Team Leader
- Actively support continuous improvement across the team
- Escalate any compliance issues to the Customs Team Leader

**This role would suit people who have**
- The ability to work well in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Prior experience of import, export, or customs compliance
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Experience of building positive relationships with suppliers
- Good Microsoft Excel skills (you can use VLOOKUPS, pivot tables etc.)
