A Specialties Broker Support Administrator assists brokers, clients, and (re)insurers in researching, placing, and producing (re)insurance documentation. They ensure that the process follows market standards and procedures, delivering high-quality results that meet the clients' needs. As a developing professional and individual contributor in the Broker Support Team, a Specialties Broker Support Administrator works under moderate supervision.

What can you expect?

  • Assists more senior colleagues in the production of placement slips, endorsements and contract documentation according to market standards.
  • Assists more senior colleagues in the production of underwriting submissions and information packs.
  • Deals with coverage and contractual queries.
  • Provides routine support for the New/ Renewal Process of the placement cycle
  • Demonstrates knowledge of and experience with process steps, procedures and standards relating to Delegated Authorities.
  • Demonstrate collaboration across Global Specialties.
  • Carries out research for more senior colleagues to enable them to inform client of developments affecting various product types.
  • Good knowledge of systems.

We will count on you to:

  • Assists with responding to specialties client queries and concerns, resolving issues promptly to maintain client satisfaction.
  • Updates management on issues, progress, etc., regularly and upon request to ensure high quality client service.
  • Monitors accounts (payments, collections, etc.) anticipating and preventing problems when possible.
  • Maintains strong relationships with Specialties clients, colleagues, and insurance/reinsurance companies to efficiently communicate client demands and requests internally.

  • Previous experience of working within the insurance or reinsurance sector
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working with computer systems, databases, and software applications commonly used in the insurance industry.
  • A customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service and building positive relationships with clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assist brokers in resolving issues and making informed decisions.
