The Hartford International (HIG) is seeking a Delegated Authority Analyst to play a vital role in managing our Delegated Authority Framework.

This position involves close collaboration with underwriters and stakeholders, ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our delegated facilities process.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with underwriters and key stakeholders to efficiently process new and renewal delegated facilities.
  • Ensure all delegated facilities adhere to established approval processes.
  • Proactively monitor and complete tasks within Lloyd's delegated systems.
  • Prepare comprehensive management information for business reporting purposes.
  • Contribute to the development and monitoring of Coverholder audit plans.
  • Work closely with the Central Operations team to guarantee timely data entry accuracy.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide expert advice on delegated underwriting practices.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for Delegated Authority Administrators, offering guidance and support.
  • Actively participate in delegated authority projects as needed.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments and trends within the delegated authority sphere.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated understanding of general insurance principles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to implement process improvements for enhanced efficiency.
  • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when required.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with underwriting systems.
  • Relevant experience within the delegated authority business sector.
  • Previous experience working in office environments.
