About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Broker Support Specialist - Delegated Authority to join our team at GB001 Marsh Ltd. As a key member of our Broker Support Team, you will play a critical role in assisting brokers, clients, and (re)insurers in researching, placing, and producing (re)insurance documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist more senior colleagues in the production of placement slips, endorsements, and contract documentation according to market standards.
  • Assist more senior colleagues in the production of underwriting submissions and information packs.
  • Deal with coverage and contractual queries.
  • Provide routine support for the New/Renewal Process of the placement cycle.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and experience with process steps, procedures, and standards relating to Delegated Authorities.
  • Demonstrate collaboration across Global Specialties.
  • Carry out research for more senior colleagues to enable them to inform clients of developments affecting various product types.
  • Good knowledge of systems.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working within the insurance or reinsurance sector.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working with computer systems, databases, and software applications commonly used in the insurance industry.
  • A customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service and building positive relationships with clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assist brokers in resolving issues and making informed decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience of delegated authority procedures.
  • Reinsurance experience.
  • Knowledge of Marine, Energy, or Technical Lines.
