We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Broker Support Specialist to join our market-leading team of insurance experts at Lockton Companies.
As a Broker Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing innovative, detailed, and best-practice service to clients across a wide-ranging portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support to brokers on client and market-facing work, including the timely completion of market slips, producing risk quotations, and reviewing client documentation.
- Engage with Lockton's placement facilities to accommodate enquiries from around the world.
- Build your understanding of placing Terrorism business in the Lloyd's and company markets to work towards placing your own risks and endorsements.
- Support brokers in gathering detailed information on clients, industry analysis, and geopolitical information.
- Review and analyze underwriting information to draft market submissions for review.
- Prepare slips and marketing information to present to brokers.
- Ensure all required information is documented and work with the Divisional Support and IBA teams to support on invoicing and debt management.
- Coordinate with the dedicated Claims team in the event of a loss.
- Build strong partnerships across the wider Crisis Management business.
- Previous experience in the insurance industry will be helpful as a foundation.
- Good attention to detail, an interest in research and analysis, and the ability to provide structured, reasoned decisions will be beneficial.
- Ability to build strong relationships with technical, sales, and operational colleagues and market contacts will be beneficial.
- Desire to join a dynamic, entrepreneurial team in a growing organization to start or take the next step in your insurance career.
